Steeping stones and Living Dreams

Treat life as an experiment- Great thing doesn’t happen on the first try.  Keep trying and see what you need to improve.  Thomas Edison said I didn’t fail that many times I just discovered how not to do it that many times.
Have direction, don’t wander aimlessly.  “As long as you don’t lose sight of your vision and values, you can make course corrections as you gain knowledge.”
Don’t just have the goal get a good job but “Look around you. Take a fresh, hard, and uncompromising look at life as you see it. Ask this question, ‘What needs to be done?’ When you have an answer, and it may take some time to get it, then go and do what needs to be done. Do it better than anyone else does it and the world will beat down your door for your help. Then you will not need ‘a good job’; and you will have more than a career.  You will have a mission.”  Scientist and inventor R. Buckminster Fuller.
The most successful and fulfilled entrepreneurs are always advancing toward a vision that gives meaning to their life.
Beginning with the end in mind is about examining why life is worth living and being true to your own values and dreams.
We all “want it all” but reality doesn’t work that way.  I need to prioritize and realize I can’t have it all so what matters most and what aligns with my core values and ultimate goals.
“Take the time to question people in each age group. Learn what the world looks like from their perspective so you can prepare yourself. Then, try to imagine situations where your values may be called into question and consider your response.” I love asking people and being able to learn from their life experiences.  Back up from your end life goal to now and see what things you need to do at each age group to get there.
It’s important to make enough money to be able to comfortably support yourself and family and to use it to help others and make life meaningful.  Just don’t get wrapped up in needing to make more and more to support a lifestyle you don’t need to live.
Why do you think Randy Pausch was able to achieve so many of his childhood dreams?  I think he was able to achieve so many of his dreams because he cared more about what he thought then what others thought.  He was determined and kept trying again until he was successful.
Do you feel that dreaming is important? Why or why not? Yes, because dreaming is what makes life worth living.  Everything great that happens starts with a dream.  Every business and invention started out with a dream.
Discuss at least one of your childhood dreams. Explain why you believe you can or cannot achieve this dream.  My childhood dream was to become a mom that would be there for her kids, would love them.
 The Cycle of Divine Guidance
Trust your inner voice, come what may-the spiritual promptings of personal revelation should not fade in time.
Have Faith to act with urgency-Keep moving forward with faith.
Be at peace with Heavens timing-even if it’s hard, know that you’re following Gods will and Gods timing.
Live well-live according to your personal standards and honor your covenants with God.

Repeat
